This year, share words that warm hearts and help us light up Christmas for five charitable institutions. The more messages shine, the stronger the light that we’ll bring to those in need!
Together, we will light up Christmas for these charities that promote inclusion and social reintegration for hundreds of people every day. Find out who they are!
Promotion of social inclusion through theatrical, artistic, or recreational-educational practices
“We were founded in 2010 with the mission of promoting education for children and young people in the Douro region who live in economic difficulties, as a means of social inclusion in the territory.
We accompany each child and young person’s educational, personal, and social journey until they enter their working life, providing all the educational opportunities necessary to promote academic success and prevent early school dropout.
We are currently working with eight municipalities: Alijó, Armamar, Carrazeda de Ansiães, Mesão Frio, Murça, Sabrosa, São João da Pesqueira, and Tabuaço. But our dream is to reach all municipalities in the region, where we support around 240 children and young people from more than 117 families.
“We help those who are homeless, families at risk or families in need, through social solidarity actions, providing close contact, food, clothing, and social reintegration services, regardless of social status, ethnicity, religion, or gender.”
Trabalho personalizado com cada uma das crianças e jovens que apoiamos, acompanhando o seu percurso educativo, social e familiar até à integração na vida ativa.
“At INCA Association, we believe that every gesture of solidarity can transform lives. Our mission is to support vulnerable children and their families by offering help, hope, and opportunities for a better future.
We work with social and cultural areas with dedication and proximity, promoting projects that provide not only material support, but also affection, happiness, and inclusion. Together, we build a more just, supportive, and humane community.”
“We develop activities aimed at the incubation of solidary economic initiatives, focusing on supporting the development of social integration companies or economic and social solidarity initiatives.
We contribute to the development of active methodologies and innovative social intervention programmes to fight poverty and social exclusion.”
“Our mission is to promote social inclusion, community development, and the well-being of the population of Nazaré neighborhood in Funchal, through art, culture, and social solidarity actions, with special attention to the most vulnerable groups, such as the elderly, children, and disadvantaged families.
Through artistic projects, such as theater, music, and visual arts, at Associação Olho.te we seek to give voice to communities, strengthen social ties, stimulate creativity, promote access to culture, and contribute to the construction of a more just, supportive, and inclusive society.”
